I am currently attending a 2-year college where I am studying Liberal Arts, which everyone assumes is the fancy term for I don't know what to do with my life. This isn't true--I want to be a high school English teacher in an urban school--my current school just doesn't offer an appropriate major. I am hoping that I can make a difference in my place of work, and I am very passionate about educational reform. I believe quite strongly that the current system most schools have adapted is very flawed.

I enjoy many different kinds of art and my fair share of geekery as well; I have a secret love for classics and astronomy. More info can be found in the interests section.
